First tool to add a lossless date watermark to digital pictures
July 31, 2004 -- First tool to add a lossless date watermark to digital pictures
Kozasoft has released Gena PhotoStamper v.2.1, an easy-to-use Windows application that adds a reversible date stamp to digital photos with no quality degradation.
Unlike normal watermarks, PhotoStamper does not modify the actual image outside the stamp area, allowing the user to add a stamp without compromising image quality. Moreover, the stamps can be easily removed later to restore original images. The application inserts stamps based on the date of the original picture and/or custom text for selected files or entire folders. The stamp appearance is fully customizable: the user can adjust the stamp position on the image, text size, font, and color, as well as a background color.
Key product features include:
* Lossless stamp. PhotoStamper doesn't modify even a single pixel outside the datestamp area.
* 100% Reversible. You can remove the stamp from the image to roll it back to the original image pixels.
* Shell Extension. You can stamp your pictures right from the Explorer window by simply right-clicking them.
* Multi-language support. PhotoStamper supports various date/time formats for different languages.
* Adjustable transparency. Place stamp on the transparent background area to make stamp reading easier.
* EXIF support. PhotoStamper reads image date and time from EXIF data.
Gena PhotoStamper requires Windows 98/Me/2000/XP/2003. A single-user license costs $14.95(US), and may be purchased securely from http://www.photostamper.com/.
